- Created at Trader Vic’s, the Great Granddaddy of Tiki Bars - the Mai Tai is the rum-based, fruity favourite of hornswogglers, deck swabbers and scurvy dogs from all four corners of the globe.
- INGREDIENTS
- 30mL (1oz) Lyre's Dark Cane
- 30mL (1oz) Lyre's White Cane Spirit
- 30mL (1oz) Lyre's Orange Sec
- 30mL (1oz) fresh lime juice
- 7.5mL (0.25oz) premium almond syrup
- 7.5mL (0.25oz) white sugar syrup (1:1)
- Method: Shake briefly, strain into glass, top with fresh ice.
- Glass: Old Fashioned
- Garnish: Lime Wedge, Plump Mint Sprig
