Description
- While Ernest Hemingway was penning Old Man and the Sea in one corner of La Bodeguita Bar in Havana, a fellow visionary was creating the Mojito on the other side. Lyre’s White Cane Spirit, muddled mint and hints of sugar cane, a true mojito should be stirred using the bill of a giant marlin and enjoyed with a Montecristo rolled by Blackbeard himself.
- INGREDIENTS
- 75mL (2.5oz) Lyre's White Cane Spirit
- 30mL (1oz) fresh lime juice
- 15mL (0.5oz) white sugar syrup (1:1)
- 8 - 10 mint leaves
- 30 ml (1oz) soda water
- Method: Add all ingredients into glass. Fill with fresh cubed ice, stir, add soda and garnish.
- Glass: Highball
- Garnish: Lime Wheel, Plump Mint Sprig
